Sarah Westley Sarah Westley
Cello

Since being awarded the title of BBC County Young Musician of Hereford and Worcester, Sarah has performed throughout the UK and was invited to perform at the Niveran Centre, Iran as part of a series of Duo recitals in 2002. Other chamber music experience includes Duo performances with contralto, and cello quartet. Her solo experience extends to concertos conducted by the assistant to Sir Simon Rattle, and in St Paul's Church, Covent Garden. Sarah's orchestral experience is extensive; she currently performs with English National Opera, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Milton Keynes City Orchestra, Telford New Symphony Orchestra and numerous other professional orchestras. She is also principal cellist of Orchestra of the City, London. As well as her classical music experience, she has performed with Strings of India, produced recordings for and performed with Dance, Techno and Reggae musicians. Sarah completed her degree at Trinity College of Music, and her Postgraduate Diploma and Licentiate at Royal Academy of Music.
